» Sexually dimorphic. Hens have blue crown with little or no red around eye and green primary coverts.
» From Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico 
» Wild population declining

» Bred in captivity but rare in pet trade although they are available.

Reminiscent of the White-fronted Amazon  A. albifrons except the lores are yellow, the white on the forehead extends to mid-crown and a large black patch on ear-coverts,
